Ibrahim Abdullah Al Hosni, a key figure in Oman’s push towards a digital economy, has been named the Best Leader in the Middle East in Business and Artificial Intelligence. The award was presented at the Business Fair Middle East Leadership Summit and Awards 2026 in Dubai, placing a spotlight on the Sultanate’s rising influence in the region’s technology sector. Al Hosni serves as the Chairman of the Digital Economy and AI Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Chairman of the Oman Food Bank.

Throughout his career, Al Hosni has championed programs focused on digital transformation and AI adoption within both public and private institutions through his role at OCCI. His work extends to social impact, with significant contributions to community initiatives like the Oman Food Bank and the Ayadi Volunteer Platform.

He has also been instrumental in programs designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among Omani youth. Al Hosni noted that AI has become a “strategic enabler” for improving efficiency and decision-making, not just in business but also in delivering social impact through better data analysis.
