Jordan’s Ministry of Youth and the Digital Entrepreneurship Association are exploring joint initiatives to strengthen youth entrepreneurship, digital skills and innovation.
The discussions took place in Amman between Minister of Youth Raad Sami Al-Adwan and association board chairman Hussam Abu Hammour. Al-Adwan highlighted digital entrepreneurship as a source of new opportunities for young people and stressed the need for an environment that supports creativity and innovation.
The ministry said entrepreneurship and digital skills have been included in the National Youth Strategy. The 2026 Hussein Camps for Work and Construction also addressed entrepreneurship, digital skills, and initiative management and design for the first time, alongside plans to establish business incubators across Jordan’s governorates.
The association proposed specialised training through its training centre, cooperation on innovation incubators through the Digital Training Academy, and nationwide competitions for digital business ideas. It also plans to help connect entrepreneurs and initiative leaders with investors.
The two sides discussed joint youth programmes, training for workers in the youth sector, and stronger incubation programmes to help turn youth ideas into viable, scalable projects.
