Saudi information systems provider Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS) has signed a framework agreement with Saudi Aramco to provide data center rental services, expanding its role in the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure market.
According to a disclosure on the Saudi Exchange, the agreement runs for five years and can be extended by two additional years under its terms. It covers racks, cooling, power, connectivity, security and technical support for Aramco’s main data center and disaster recovery center.
The agreement does not include a fixed financial value. Instead, services will be delivered through purchase orders issued later under an agreed pricing list. MIS said the financial impact will begin when it receives the first purchase orders, rather than at the time of signing.
The long-term framework gives MIS the opportunity to support Aramco’s data center operations over several years, while allowing service volumes to be determined by operational needs. The deal comes as demand for hosting, cloud infrastructure and other digital services grows alongside Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation efforts.
