Algeria Startup Challenge has selected four startups for this edition of the Harm Reduction Initiative Awards, following a challenge that attracted more than 70 startups and innovative solutions.
Run in collaboration with Philip Morris International, the initiative focuses on risk reduction across health, the environment, industry and cities.
The selected startups are AQUABLOOM, which develops sustainable water and sludge treatment solutions; Rampart Security, a B2B SaaS platform focused on human-risk prevention in cybersecurity; KHOUDA Start_up, which is developing connected safety helmets with IoT sensors, gas and fall detection, and GPS alerts; and Eco Smart Glass, which develops thermosensitive smart glazing for buildings and greenhouses.
Algeria Startup Challenge said the program will follow the startups’ progress and their contribution to risk reduction and community resilience.
