The Businesswomen’s Council of the Giza Chamber of Commerce has kicked off its free training program, “Business Simulation and E-Marketing,” designed to sharpen the skills of local entrepreneurs and project owners. The initiative is a joint effort with Egypt’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and receives support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Quick Facts
- Free training program for Giza entrepreneurs.
- Focuses on Business Simulation & Digital Marketing.
- A partnership between local and international bodies.
Bridging the Skills Gap with Simulation and Digital Strategy
The program is structured to provide hands-on, practical knowledge over four training days spanning two weeks. The initial sessions are dedicated to Business Simulation, a methodology that allows participants to gain applied experience in project management, planning, decision-making, and risk analysis in a controlled environment that mimics real-world market conditions. This allows founders to test strategies and understand the financial and operational impact of their decisions without real-world risk.
Following the simulation module, the program will pivot to Digital Marketing on July 11 and 12. This segment will cover the latest tools and strategies for building a brand identity, managing social media platforms, content creation, and effective customer targeting to help businesses scale and access new markets.
A Strategic Partnership for Egypt’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
The initiative reflects the Giza Chamber of Commerce’s broader strategy to expand its capacity-building programs and support the local startup ecosystem. The collaboration brings together key public, private, and international development partners to deliver high-impact training.
Dr. Afaf Ahmed, President of the Businesswomen’s Council, emphasized the program’s role in creating a new generation of founders capable of building successful ventures. “The Businesswomen’s Council is keen to organize specialized training programs that keep pace with the rapid developments in the business environment and contribute to transferring practical expertise to entrepreneurs,” she stated.
Echoing this sentiment, El-Sayed Zaghloul, Treasurer of the Giza Chamber of Commerce, noted the chamber’s commitment to human capital development as a cornerstone of national economic competitiveness. He confirmed that the chamber will continue to forge partnerships to launch more specialized programs, empowering project owners and strengthening the contribution of the SME sector to sustainable economic development.
