Wakilni Partners With DHL Express Lebanon for International Shipping

2 Min Read

Beirut-based delivery company Wakilni has partnered with DHL Express Lebanon to help customers send personal items, gifts and online orders abroad without relying on travelers’ luggage.

Wakilni will manage booking and pickup within Lebanon, while DHL Express handles international delivery. According to a rate sheet on Wakilni’s help site for e-commerce businesses, delivery takes two to four working days for destinations in the closest zone and five to seven days for the farthest. Indicative prices range from $25 to $50 for packages weighing up to 1.5kg, depending on the destination zone and volumetric weight.

Shipments to Syria and Palestine are not accepted because DHL has no local presence there. Cosmetics and oils may require health ministry clearance, while customs duties can apply at destination. Fees are paid in US dollars at pickup, and cash on delivery is unavailable. Wakilni has not confirmed whether individual senders will pay the same rates listed for businesses.

Founded in 2016, Wakilni began as a concierge service and has since expanded into fulfilment, warehousing and courier services. The company said it now employs more than 300 people and completes tens of thousands of deliveries each month across Lebanon and Jordan.
