Women in Tech Syria brought Syrian founders, entrepreneurs, investors and technology leaders together at the Damascus Startup Meetup, with a focus on strengthening connections between Syria’s startup community and Singapore’s venture ecosystem.
The meetup was organised in partnership with Maynger Ventures, a Singapore-based venture firm, and Sanad. According to Women in Tech Syria, the gathering created an environment for founders to exchange ideas and build relationships with international investors.
The organisation also highlighted the participation of women-led startups, giving founders an opportunity to share their work and connect with potential supporters beyond Syria.
DIGIT Innovation Hub was also thanked for supporting the event. The meetup reflects growing efforts to connect Syrian entrepreneurs with international networks, expertise and investment opportunities.
